Common paving estimate questions
What information helps with a paving estimate?
It depends on the project, but at minimum we need to know the address, expected scope (repair, new installation, sealcoat, etc.), and a good email address to send the estimate to. Having more information is great, such as plans or a takeoff already complete. Whatever you start with though, we can help you figure it out.
Do you handle residential and commercial projects?
Yes. Emerald Coast Paving works on commercial parking lots, private roads, public parking areas, beach condo rentals, HOAs, driveways, concrete, and maintenance projects. We also perform larger residential installations and repairs. If you're unsure just give us a call and we can discuss the project and get you on the right track.
When should asphalt be sealcoated instead of repaved?
Sealcoating is preventive maintenance for asphalt that is still structurally sound. It helps seal hairline starter cracks, and we can apply crack sealant to full-depth cracks as well to minimize their future damage. If there are widespread failures, base issues, drainage damage, or major potholes, repair or resurfacing may be a better fit.
